Tulsa Artist Fellowship welcomes our community members to join us for February First Friday! This special evening begins with a reception introducing the 2024-2026 Tulsa Artist Fellowship awardees from 6 to 7:30 pm. Prism Cafe is thoughtfully preparing a winter-inspired menu and beverages. Open studios will feature alumni-in-residence until 9 pm. Immerse yourself in their inspiring workspaces, where you can witness the development of visionary artwork and engage in conversations with the creators themselves. We look forward to reconnecting with our neighbors and friends.

The 2025-2027 Tulsa Artist Fellowship application is now open! Apply today through February 28, 2024.

Each of the ten selected recipients will receive $150,000 over three award years, a $12,000 annual housing stipend, a $1,200 yearly health stipend, a $1,200 yearly studio assistant stipend, a $1,500 relocation stipend, fully subsidized studio spaces and access to shared art-making facilities. Established creatives working in any medium or discipline with at least five years of arts field experience are encouraged to apply.

Recognizing that groundbreaking art practices thrive within an intention-setting framework, awardees will commit to actualizing a proposed project during the program term. Competitive submissions will extend from the applicants’ artistic practice, be forward-thinking, demonstrate impactful community engagement, and significantly contribute to Tulsa’s arts identity.

Tulsa Artist Fellowship was established in 2015 as a program dedicated to addressing the most pressing challenges in artistic communities and serving as a globally recognized model for mobilizing communities with the transformative power of art.

With the belief that arts are critical to the advancement of cultural citizenship, Tulsa Artist Fellowship supports both local and national artists while enriching the Tulsa community. Tulsa Artist Fellowship is a George Kaiser Family Foundation initiative.
