Over the course of two 3-hour sessions, participants will learn how to transform pure pigments and gum arabic into highly-saturated watercolor paints. Participants will engage in hands-on interactions with the materials to make a variety of different paints and art materials while exploring the history of this process.

No prior experience with painting or paint making is required. This workshop will be ideal for artists interested in painting and drawing who would like to expand the possibilities of their medium. All materials tools and materials needed will be supplied by Tulsa Artist Fellowship. Participants will leave the workshop with a set of watercolors that they personally created.
