TULSA ARTIST FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMMING IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL


Tulsa Artist Fellowship invites our community for the book launch celebration of Telling Our Stories: Vol. III featuring three plays by playwright and awardee Dr. Rodney L. Clark - Boonie, The Integration of Booker T. Washington High School, and Urban Renewal (Negro Removal). The evening features a play reading from Urban Renewal (Negro Removal) with performances by Frankie Asberry, Elizabeth Bate, Walt Bell, Anthony Brinkley, Nick Bushta, Pam English, Sharon Louie, and Kaicee Mayo.


ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dr. Rodney L. Clark is a native Tulsan and a descendant of the 1921 Race Massacre. He has a B.A. degree in Theatre from the University of Washington (Seattle), an M.F.A. degree in Film from Howard University (Washington, D.C.), and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from Oklahoma State University (Stillwater). He has over twenty years of experience as an Educator (Assistant Professor of Theatre-Tulsa Community College and Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, and Administrator at Tulsa Public Schools.) Dr. Clark is a playwright, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and rancher.
