Tulsa Artist Fellowship, 108|Contemporary, and Flash Flood Print Studios are honored to participate in the 6th Annual Tulsa Native American Day Celebration on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 9am-6pm. The theme "Our Journey Continues" represents the resilience of Native peoples past, present, and future. Performances, artist demonstrations, food vendors, market, and activities will run throughout the day! Come listen to local community leaders and guest speakers talk about what this day means to them. Parade will begin at 11am followed by exhibition dancing.

The featured artwork titled The Arbor by artist Joe Don Brave (Osage/Cherokee) depicts the dance arbor in Hominy, Oklahoma and provides a fitting image for the theme of this year. The piece illustrates multiple generations gathering for and sharing in a traditional dance. More information about Brave's arts practice can be found at joedonbraveart.com.
