WHAT IS THE TULSA ARTIST FELLOWSHIP?

Tulsa Artist Fellowship provides a $20,000 stipend, housing and workspace to contemporary artists. Tulsa Artist Fellowship encourages artists from all across the country to apply and requires all fellows to reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the duration of the fellowship.

WHEN IS THE APPLICATION AVAILABLE?

The application for the 2020 class of Tulsa Artist Fellows will be available Spring 2019.

HOW MANY FELLOWSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED?

The number of Fellowships awarded will vary. There are currently 60 Tulsa Artist Fellows living and working in Tulsa, OK.

WHO WILL BE REVIEWING THE APPLICATIONS?

The Fellowship applications will be screened for eligibility by the local coordinating committee. Review of the application will be performed by a national panel of artists, art critics, curators, editors, writers, art educators and administrators.

WHAT CRITERIA WILL BE USED IN DETERMINING ELIGIBILITY FOR THE NATIVE AMERICAN FELLOWSHIP POSITIONS?

The program will use the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 as a guideline. The details of this Act can be reviewed here: www.iacb.doi.gov.
