Colleen Abel is the author of Remake, which won the 2015 Editor’s Prize from Unicorn Press and which was released in April 2017. She is also the author of two chapbooks, Housewifery and Deviants. A former fellow at UW-Madison’s Institute for Creative Writing, she has received fellowships from Ragdale, the Vermont Studio Center, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, KHN Center for the Arts and Wassard Elea, in southern Italy. Her poetry, essays and reviews have appeared in venues such as The Southern Review, Colorado Review, Pleiades, and elsewhere.
