Moulton

Katie Moulton is a writer, editor and music critic from St. Louis. Her writing has appeared in Tin House, Oxford American, No Depression, The Believer, Catapult, Village Voice, Consequence of Sound, Boulevard, Quarterly West, and elsewhere. Winner of the Devil's Lake Prize in Fiction, her work has been supported by fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Bread Loaf Writers Conference, Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Hub City Writers Project, the Jentel Foundation, Oklahoma Center for the Humanities, Tin House Summer Workshop, VCCA, and Writers OMI. She holds degrees from Boston College and Indiana University, where she was the editor of Indiana Review. She started writing about music for Voice Media publications in 2009, and served as the Music Editor of Westword, Denver's long-running alternative weekly newspaper. She’s at work on her first book, which combines memoir and music criticism.
