Abby Mashunkashey is an arts worker and communications professional. A storyteller at heart and trade, she supports Tulsa Artist Fellowship’s marketing efforts through a journalistic and social marketing lens. A native Oklahoman, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Oklahoma State University where she studied social marketing and nation branding. Community work includes serving as a Commissioner on the Greater Tulsa Indian Affairs Commission, as well as being a current member of the Association of Women in Communications. Abby is a proud member of the Osage Nation, a mother of two and decade-long Tulsan. A strong advocate for the transformative power of the arts, she values the role of sharing the impact of Tulsa Artist Fellowship on both a local and global scale.
