INTRODUCING AMONG ARTISTS
Among Artists opens a new chapter for Tulsa Artist Fellowship’s annual Open House—a weekend of art, conversation, nourishment, and being together, November 6–7, 2026.
The Fellowship presents projects throughout the year, in Tulsa and beyond. Among Artists creates a distinct occasion for closer attention: to encounter artists’ work, follow shared lines of inquiry, and spend time with the people and ideas taking shape here.
Friday begins at Flagship with an opening program of readings by Kashona Notah and Joy Harjo. Continue the evening with a celebration of Wilderness of Mirrors, a solo exhibition by Shane Brown, open studios, Time Tellers installation by Amy Hoagland, and DJ Natty Boom on the roof terrace.
Return Saturday for brunch by Prism and Between Practices, an artist-led day of conversation. Close the weekend with A Shared Table, a community dinner prepared by Que Gusto featuring seasonal ingredients grown at Clark-Asberry Homestead Ranch, connecting Tulsa’s food, land, and creative life.
Free and open to all, the weekend welcomes the Fellowship's growing community of artists, collaborators, neighbors, and visitors into the company of art. Join for one gathering or spend the weekend with us.
“Among Artists invites people into the work and relationships growing here in Tulsa. I hope someone leaves with an artist they want to follow, a question they keep thinking about, or a new neighbor they’re glad to have met. More than anything, I hope they feel there is room for them here. We can keep pulling up chairs and making room—that is a value we have to practice together.”
Tulsa Artist Fellowship advances community-rooted artistic futures from Tulsa. Through sustained investment, we champion artists whose work expands creative practice, sparks dialogue, and strengthens cultural belonging—shaping the city’s cultural and civic future.
